The system is able to measure real physical parameters of the spray such as:
- particle temperature
- velocity
- flux and distribution
- spray width
- angle
- position
- intensity
Process
- The image processing algorithm measures the particle traces on the CCD detector
- Images the particle flow and measures the important characteristics of the particles just before they form the coating on the target surface
- The developed software algorithm identifies individual particles in the images and measures their position, direction and velocity.
